Carignan Wine and Pork Ribs a great pairing

In my first delivery I received the Carignan Wine it was fantastic. The August arrival of Bright Willow Coteaux De Miramont Carignan 2016 was a pleasant surprise. The Carrigan Wine is a deep a red wine, with an earthy fruit aroma which it released in the act of lifting it to my lips. As the flavor of the Carrigan Wine touched my palate I tasted its bold dark earthy flavor along with a berry essence after taste.

The Carrigan Wine is great alone but we like to pair it with appetizers or a meal. Red wines are great with meats such as beef, pork of even lamb. The suggested food pairing for the Carrigan wine was pork.

I decided to smoked some country style pork ribs. I used Cherry Wood and a basic pork rub. The pork was prepared by rinsing, drying then rubbing on liberally the basic rub. Then I set aside for 3 hours. I sipped on the Carrigan Wine then placed them in the smoker at around 240 for 2 hours, they were then moved to the grill using indirect heat for another hour. In the last 5 minutes as I sipped more Carrigan Wine. I brushed the fully cooked morsels with Baby Ray’s Honey Chipotle Barbecue sauce. Cooked just 5 minutes to get the sauce to firm up. Served with fresh grilled vegetables, the combination of flavors made everyone present enjoy the meal and the company that much more.

Will the same thing happen to your gathering when you pull out a bottle of Carignan !?               Try it and see !!!
